Mark is a people person. At the age of 11, as a young ambassador, Mark represented Canada at the "Children's International Summer Village" in Sweden. Mark spent a month with over 40 children representing 10 different nations. The organization promotes international understanding and world peace through children.
Ever since his grandfather strapped Mark into his first pair of skates at the age of two, he has loved the game of hockey. Mark was fortunate to play on some exceptional (championship) Jr."B" and Intermediate "A" teams in Victoria , B.C. "Besides the excellent friendships, hockey taught me the value of being a team player, the importance of always striving to be your best, persistence, dedication and the knowledge that if you truly believe you can achieve!"
Experiencing other countries and sports (particularly hockey) have always been Mark's two main loves. So, it is not too surprising, when offered the opportunity to spend a year traveling the South Pacific, playing hockey in the Australian "Super League" and representing New South Wales in the Australian National Championships (Goodall Cup), Mark jumped at it.
Upon returning to Cambridge in 1987 Mark began his real estate career. A career he has found both challenging and rewarding.
